Perth’s Top Business Hotels
Where are the best hotels in Perth to do business?
From the right restaurants to entertain clients, business partners and staff, to the best facilities for meetings, conferences, early morning starts and plush rooms to rest after a long day, Perth offers a number of great hotels for local and out-of-town business players.
The following Perth Hotels are considered the best for catering to the business traveler, locally based business organisations looking for entertainment, dining and conference facilities, or for sales presentations and networking events.
1. Best Western Premier, The Terrace Hotel
The newest hotel on the Perth scene, ‘The Terrace’ is located at the west end of St George’s Terrace, right across the road from Woodside Plaza and the QV1 building. The Hotel, opened in 2012, gets high marks for entertainment, style, food, rooms, corporate facilities and location. The Terrace Hotel is very popular with local business networks, high-end visitors and is an ideal setting for small networking events and business dining.
2. The Richardson Hotel & Spa
Ranked at the top of business friendly hotels on Trip Advisor, ‘The Richardson’ is often the Perth home for some of the world’s biggest celebrities.
The hotel is regarded as having very friendly staff, with strong attention to detail and overall quality customer service, often a rare combination in a city known for sometimes weak customer service.
The guest reception is very much like a club room, giving visitors an excellent first impression, especially those who’ve just arrived in town after a long flight.
The hotel is in a quite part of West Perth, and close to Kings Park for amazing views of Perth city. West Perth cafes and restaurants are ideal for business meetings at breakfast, lunch or dinner. The area is home to some of Perth’s most successful and wealthy mining companies.
2. The Pan Pacific Perth Hotel
Home to one of the biggest business orientated club lounges in Perth, the Pan Pacific Perth Hotel is very much focused on business events, conferences and capturing the wider business traveler market.
The hotel was refurbished just under 5-years ago, with the biggest draw card being the Pan Pacific club rooms, including large business desks for working the midnight oil.
The hotel is home to a fine dining restaurant and a buffet restaurant. The lobby bar is also a good haunt for a business drink and the conference and events facilities are some of the best in Australia. The hotel is frequently home to a number of big conferences from the mining sector (like Africa Downunder) and other trade events.
3. Rendezvous Grand Hotel Perth Scarborough
The only hotel where you’ll be able to see the sun set over the Indian Ocean, the Rendezvous Grand Hotel Perth Scarborough was recently re-launched and is now under new management. Much of the hotel has been completely refurbished, including the introduction of a Club Room high up the tower. The new management team, led by Hotel Manager Matthew Richardson, is keen to impress new guests.
The hotel offers a wide range of business conference facilities, including large rooms with views of the Indian Ocean.
Rendezvous Scarborough is keen to position itself as a top business friendly hotel in Perth. Room rates are competitive. ‘The Rendezvous’ is a unique and ideal place to hold big and small events, conferences and presentations, or for business travelers visiting Osborne Park and nearby offices.
4. Crown Metropol Perth
The Crown Metropol makes our list because of the hotel’s easy access to Perth’s most prestigious and popular fine dining. Crown Perth is home to some of the best places for a business lunch or dinner, including Rockpool (Contemporary Australian), Nobu (Japanese), Modo Mio (Italian) and Bistro Guillaume (French). The Metropol Hotel itself is ideal for mixing business with pleasure, and of course the casino and bars give you the option of a relaxed and fun place to do business. Close to the airport on Great Eastern Highway.
6. Rydges Perth
The Rydges Perth is very much set up for business travelers and for local business types looking for a place to meet. The hotel is equipped with a spacious club lounge, friendly staff, a buzzing downstairs bar and restaurant. The Rydges has a really good vibe during the lunch time hour and is often buzzing right through to mid-evening, especially in summer.
The hotel is ideally located on Hay Street right across from Perth’s high-end retail district on King Street. (think Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Chanel, Prada, Tiffany & Co.)
